Briefly Introduction:
Ripper bucket, also named as shank bucket (from abroad) or multi ripper bucket, is a combination of standard excavator bucket and ripper.
Benefits Compared with Single Ripper:
a. Convenience. Ripper bucket perfectly saves the trouble of separating the jobs of digging and loading onto two different excavators (one standard type bucket and the other with a single ripper).
b. Better Working Effect. Ripper bucket allows ripping and loading to be finished at the same time, avoiding the material to absorb too much moisture if it rains, so the whole digging and loading will be easier.
c. Energy-saving. The shanks on the bucket arranged on an arc, cause a smooth ripping motion which is easy in operation for both the excavator itself and the operator.
d. Neat Working Environment. The combination of loading and ripping reduces sand from re-handling. Besides, the operator will be able to work with a level pit floor for working while moving.
Unique Characteristics:
a.Because there’re no two teeth aligned, the breakout force could be applied separately to every tooth.
b. As the first tooth breaks out the material, the other 2 teeth could slam down and rip it out.
c. This bucket could reach a speed 10 times faster than a regular single ripper.
Application:
a. Mostly it’s for ripping big and tough materials, such as coral, limestone, and sandstone.
b. Due to the design, this ripper bucket will also perform its best in the mining industry.
c. It’s also applicable to breaking frozen ground.
